I had bought some ‘natural’ blow-in insulation months before. It’s basically ground up newspaper with some fire retardant chemicals.
My boss Bryan, had given me a dozen 16′ 2×8 boards that were going to the trash pile. They were weathered but otherwise perfect (ok, one was warped pretty badly).
